The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration & Finance) is one of the University’s top management offices established by the University of Nairobi Charter 2013.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration & Finance) is the Head of the Administration and Finance Divisions of the University, whose functions include management of Personnel matters, Finance and Assets.

Kenya Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST Kenya) to start Admission

The University of Nairobi, Kenyan Government through Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA) and Korean Advanced Institute of Sciences and technology (KAIST) have been in partnership to establish a consortium of KAIST in Kenya.

UoN Engineering Students to get Internship Opportunities at Vivo Energy

University of Nairobi School of engineering students stand a chance of internship at the Vivo Energy Kenya.

During the signing of the MoU, an Internship placement program was launched through the partnership. The program targets Engineering undergraduate students.

Apply for a Certificate Course in Portuguese Language and Culture

You can now apply for a certificate course in Portuguese language and culture at the University of Nairobi. This is after the Launch of the course on Tuesday January 29, 2019 at the UoN towers.

UoN, Texas A&M University and Meru County Develop a Roadmap to Manage Aflatoxin Risk

In a two-day  high level strategy workshop that was held at the University of Nairobi towers, Meru County Government, University of Nairobi and other stakeholders engaged in a rigorous writing session; a bill that would legislate the management of aflatoxin in their food.

14 UoN Students Receive Scholarship from Mitsubishi Corporation

The Mitsubishi Corporation has awarded 14 University of Nairobi students scholarships through its annual Mitsubishi Corporation International Scholarships Programme. The scholarships presented by the Corporation’s General Manager, Nairobi Liaison Office, Mr. Ichiro Sugane were received by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic Affairs, Prof. Julius Ogeng’o who was representing the Vice-Chancellor.

Special Needs Graduates Celebrated

 

In a ceremony organized by the Office of the Dean of Students, the special needs UoN students who graduated in December 2018 were congratulated and celebrated on Wednesday evening January 24, 2018 at the Council Chamber.

UoN Receives Scholarship worth Kshs 2.2M for 17 Students

17 University of Nairobi students have received scholarship worth Kshs 2.2M from the Direct Aid Africa Muslim Agency, Kuwait.

This was revealed by Dr. Idle Farah, the Vice Chancellor, UMMA University and former chairman of council, UoN, during a cheque presentation ceremony that was held on Monday evening January 21, 2019 at the Vice Chancellor’s parlor.

UoN held its 9th Open Day

The University of Nairobi held its 9th Open day at the Main Campus, Great Court from January 17-19, 2019.  All colleges and central administration units have set up camp at the event, meeting and engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
