UoN Engineering Students to get Internship Opportunities at Vivo Energy

University of Nairobi School of engineering students stand a chance of internship at the Vivo Energy Kenya.

During the signing of the MoU, an Internship placement program was launched through the partnership. The program targets Engineering undergraduate students.

The objective of the internship program is to provide local students with working experience, provide a pool from which Vivo Energy Kenya could recruit talent, to tap the business opportunity that the University presents to the company and to build a strong employer brand for Vivo Energy Kenya.

Principal, College of Architecture and Engineering, Prof. Peter Ngau, urged the students present to take the opportunity that this partnership has given them to learn and stand out in the job market.

A representative of Vivo Energy Kenya gave a step by step process of how the company conducts their internship interviews. She urged the students to be innovative and be ready to take up the challenge. She encouraged the students to apply for the internship opportunities available and to widen their scope.

The ceremony was held at the UoN towers, 4th floor on Wednesday February 6, 2019.
