2011/2012 outstanding students who received awards

The University of Nairobi held a prize giving day where they recognized 489 outstanding students from 2011/2012 and 2013/2014 academic years.The event was held at Taifa Hall on May 20, 2016.

The presents were donated by 82 donors.

Prof. Peter Mbithi, the Vice Chancellor, congratulated the students to be awarded and especially the ladies. He said that the ladies have excelled in courses that men used to do well in. 


Prof.Mbithi thanked the Donors that have been supporting and encouraging students to do well in their studies. He also recognized the sponsors that have joined in support.They include Dennis OmondiAdari University Awards, The Agnes Zani Award, Prof. Godwin O. Patrick Obasi Award, Prof. Laban A. Ogallo Award, Dr. Joseph R. Mukabana, MBS Award and the Prudential Award.


Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic Affairs, Prof. Henry Mutoro called on students to be outstanding Kenyans in the job market and make their alma mater proud. He thanked the parents and guardians for the sacrifices they made to ensure that the young men and women completed their studies.
