More than 4000 assistants of English are enrolled every year to teach in French primary or secondary schools for seven months, (renewable) 12 hour per week with a monthly allowance of € 794. They will benefit from an health insurance.Since 2018 Kenya is eligible to the programme.This program is open to students of all disciplines who can demonstrate a competence in French.French Embassy provide a VLS/TS (long-stay visa equivalent to a residence permit).

Among the services that were offered include HIV testing services, NCD screening, reproductive health, vibrant wellness, eye checkup, cervical, breast and prostate cancer screening and TB screening. This year’s theme “Know Your Status" #JI-JUE, encourages everyone to know their status. They are reportedly undertaking training with an intention of sneaking back into the country to stage terror attacks and also, they are in contact with other suspected terrorists within the country. Your attention is drawn to a recently published security related report in the Sunday Nation of January 21, 2018 outlining emerging crime trends in Nairobi city.

The report highlighted criminal gangs currently operating in the city and targeting people leaving ATM’s, Forex Bureaus, Mpesa shops and even pedestrians going about their  business. In addition, the gangs also use motorcycles and snatch handbags and mobile phones from pedestrians in the CBD.

 The champions were drawn from all the central departments and university of Nairobi satellite campus. The aim of the web drive was to sensitive the champions on the different web parameters and uploading content on the websites.
