Ford Foundation is international social justice philanthropy with a $13 billion endowment and $600 million in annual grant making.

As the University of Nairobi held its 60th Graduation Ceremony since its inception on December 21, 2018, H.E. Deputy President William Ruto graduated with a PhD in Plant Ecology and was witnessed by the President H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta.

The University today, Thursday January 10, 2019 held the second prayer day at Main Campus in Taifa Hall.  All members of staff, students and stakeholders converged at Taifa Hall for spiritual nourishment.  They thanked the Almighty God for all the blessings that they received in 2018 and trusted that they will be blessed more in 2019.

Dear All

This years training programme is a continuation of a series of training in grant proposal writing offered by the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor RPE since 2011. 

In the 2018-2019 academic year the Division shall offer a series of hands-on participatory workshops lasting three days each. The workshops will continue to strengthen the capacity of all participants to develop sound, fundable proposals to attract research funding.
