from 27TH JUNE 2017 IN 8-4-4 BUILDING FROM 12.30 P.M. TO 2.00 P.M.

The program will be as follows: -

DECLARATION OF PUBLIC HOLIDAY MONDAY JUNE 26, 2017

We wish to bring to the attention of all staff and students that the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government, Mr. Joseph Nkaissery, has declared Monday June 26, 2017 a Public Holiday.

The day will be observed to mark Idd-UI- Fitr.  The declaration is contained in a Kenya Gazette notice dated June 20, 2017.

The Vice-Chancellor challenged the staff members drawn from the six colleges and the central administration unit, to put more effort as they discharge their mandate and help the academic staff drive the university agenda of teaching, learning and research.

“Your work is very critical. You are key people in the administration and in the delivery of the service charter”, said Prof. Mbithi. “I urge you to embrace servant leadership and capture and resolve internal and external complaints.”

The school has produced legal practitioners working in various sectors of Kenyan economy. UoN scholars are working in Parliament, Judiciary, civil society and virtually in every sector of the economy.
